Vite place: Campobello di Licata
Harvesting: The Chardonnay grapes were harvested between 5th and 20th August, and the Grillo Grapes between the 5th and 15th September 2008
Alcohol grade: 14,5%
Processing technique: Hand harvesting in crates. The grapes are then cooled to 8-10 °C before going through the crusher-destemmer. The crushed grapes then go through a soft press. The first press wine is subsequently separated and decanted via static sedimentation at a low temperature. At the end of the fermentation, there is a 5 month sur-lie maturation at temperature controlled conditions. 5 months in stainless-steel vats and a further 2 months ageing in the bottle
Tasting notes: It has scents of citrus fruits and blossoms, fragrant but fleeting
Taste: Round and generous, elegantly complex with a sharply acidic finish which bestows great longevity to the wine
Info: The wine can be aged for 5-7 years
Temperature: 10 - 12°C
Size of the bottle: 75 Cl
